Koji se aventura al desarrollar una hipótesis mítica sobre el nacimiento del Volcán y escenifica en las ruinas de la iglesia un performa atlético y flameante a partir de esculturas hechas de tela.
“Skeleton” fue la escenificación fugaz de un cuento de inspiración personal que se remitió al espacio de las ruinas como su escenario sacrílego o sagrado según se le apreció por los presentes en el performa.
La versión japonesa de los motivos míticos del surgimiento del Volcán, escenificada con fuerza física, gracia gimnástica y reminiscencias del sol naciente. Koji: “El concepto de mi trabajo en esta ocasión es el mito en el Parícutin”
“When I looked through some pictures of Paricutín, a good idea struck me. I decided to create a nonfiction story by myself, a kind of Legend. For my sculptures I used cloth. I created them on motives of that legend. I set up my works in front of the ruins of the church. The performance started in the evening the fire around the church lightened my sculptures. It symbolized volcano eruption. As an art performance, I played some parts of the characters of the story. At the end of my performance I burned my sculptures. I sacrificed them to Paricutín”.
